Commission 2

The commissioning process begins by translating your vision into a tangible concept. You’ll collaborate closely, detailing your desired item’s specifics – its purpose, dimensions, form, and any aesthetic inclinations, ideally sharing inspirational visuals or preliminary sketches. Openly discussing your budget and any desired timeline will help tailor the design and approach. Leveraging their expertise, you’ll refine the design through ongoing communication, potentially reviewing sketches or renderings until it perfectly aligns with your expectations. This collaborative design phase culminates in a detailed quote outlining costs and an estimated completion timeframe.

Once the design and quote are agreed upon, a formal agreement is typically established, often requiring an initial deposit to commence the forging work. Depending on the project’s complexity, you might receive progress updates. Upon completion, you’ll have the opportunity to review the finished product to ensure it meets the agreed-upon specifications. Following your satisfaction, the final payment is made, and arrangements for the delivery or installation of your bespoke, hand-forged item will be finalized.
